Edward in the Hut!
The Hut, in case you missed knowing this, is the home of
HighWire Press, where our
family is employed. The Hut, also known as the Galvez Modular, is basically
a double-wide "temporary" building on the Stanford campus.
Sadly, HighWire is outgrowing the Hut, and will soon be moving off-campus
to an office building on Page Mill Road. Ugh, how Silicon Valley, or
something. Edward's definitely going to miss the Hut, and so will I.
Edward is typing -- you just can't really see the keyboard.
Edward is always a huge help. Organizational matters are his specialty.
Thanks to Edward's organizational acumen, we can tell this tape really
belongs in the bottom drawer. Geeze. Some people just can't put things
where they belong. Fortunately, that's why we have Edward.
Edward is also familiar with a wide range of telephony hardware. While the
product pictured here does not feature on-handset dialing capabilities (to
Edward's disappointment), it remains a high-end voice communications
terminal.
Edward is evaluating this product's level of ergonomic bias -- it's
possible that its design may indicate a bias towards people with larger
heads.
On the plus side, it does appear to pass the taste test.
And, it's a bit of a stretch, but it can also be functionally dialed.
