"She's the most wonderful person in the world, and she's never done anything that made me angry or uncomfortable... every little thing we do together is perfect, and she's nice and good to everyone and everything. Everyone loves her and no one doesn't!"
- Bleahhh!
- An elephant is like a rope!
My new guitar has a malfunction. One of the sperzel locking tuners' thumbwheel is extremely difficult to tighten down all the way. I thought it was locked when it hadn't even engaged the string. The amount of force required to actually get the string locked was something more properly applied with a monkey wrench. ("Crescent wrench", I'd normally say. But how often do I get to use the word "monkey"?)
This morning at work, I was trying to wake myself up enought to review C++ code with some kind of bug I hadn't had to deal with before in it. I could just barely concentrate on an entire line of code at once. It was tough to keep from resting my head on the wrist-rest. (My wrist rest was left on my desk by Ed when he left for CA. It is filled with a slimy gel. "gel-eez" it says.) (So when my head finally collapsed onto the gel-eez, it went "blorp".)
The idea (not really a 'bug' bug) was to try and make a base class with a copy constructor that would work properly in the classes derived from it. We don't want to have to write copy constructor code in every derived class. However, it looks like we're going to have to. Oh well. ~99.9999% of the world is not giving a shit whether or not it works.
