21:56I'm gonna get you!:
Show tomorrow! Requisite paranoid check of gear is complete. I even have a backup guitar this time! That might be a good thing. Last practice, I broke two strings during the last song of our set. The Parker Fly has some well thought out hardware that keeps me in tune despite losing about 40% of the tension against the floating bridge, but after that point it becomes an issue of not having enough strings left to play the chords and stuff.
Wha...listening to Delerium, Semantic Spaces for the first time. Kinda spaced for the entire thing of track 1. Wowwwwwww.
For the last few days I've had bits of "I'm on a plain" (Nirvana) stuck in my head. The "scratched till I bled" part. I haven't heard that song since I moved to Seattle. It is a common thing for me to get a song suddenly stuck in my head that I haven't heard in dual digit months. Sometimes years. (some kind, some kind of friend you to turned out to be...)
I really enjoy hanging out on the channels for "hackers" on IRC. Why? Here's why:
i just set my hair on fire. and theres a squad of evil feds outside my house. and like, theres a UFO in my back yard I finally found my way onto a credible channel for those overly interested in computer security; the reputation of my California area friends was what got me in. Werd. It makes me interested in Sysadminning as a challenge again, and not just as some tedious and uncreative task, like a few folks have started to see it. I'm rereading "Unix network programming", which is a great deal more interesting once you're familiar (really familiar) with networks and programming. It's a good book. It has a very boring cover.
Hmm. How curious am I about how Hershey's Chocolate Malt syrup tastes in Coke?
Herm
Not curious enough. I will eat a normal dinner. This Time!
