So, what do you do with yourself when you are waiting in a public place for several
hours? And why are we waiting here in the first place? It is required that you check in with your flight about an hour before it leaves. It's
also just a good idea to plan for everything taking longer than you think it will. Back to the question of what to do.
We can
- Twiddle with the laptop we will be giving up when we get back to portland in two days. (currently selected)
- Harass the other travellers. ("Beef jerky time! You want beef jerky? You?")
- Watch airplanes take off and land all over the place; wonder why none of them are blowing up.
- Eat at most expensive pizza huts and burger kings on earth.
I guess we pretty much want to stick with option 1. I wonder what will happen if I start up Mod4Win and start
playing some blippy MOD music? Oh. I'll get annoyed at the really bad quality of sound coming out of the nickel sized
speakers. And some people try to look over my shoulder to figure out what I am doing with all the typing and strange noises.
Gad, I hate that. Maybe I should stick a sign on the other side of the screen that says "I'm not doing anything cool".
Heh. Now I'm going to play darklight for a while.
