16:44I Say Moo!:
Eye made a gahd. Ow da blood. Nod soopeeree or it eee. Now leds see how returns get encoded.
(I am writing autogen for this format. Bugs worked out now.)
My headphones are plugged into the front panel of my work PCs CD player, and the tray is ejected. I can still hear a creaking, ticking noise coming over the wire. I fear that this noise is caused by ambient RF energy in this area. This isn't real surprising, considering the amount of machinery in this building, and the number of giant microwave dishes perched on the roof. Everyone who works in the building probably gets subjected to the equivalent of "reheat" all day.
Okay, it goes away when I unplug it. And it only works on the internal headphone jack. Perhaps the ring on that jack is grounded to the computer case, which the ethernet adaptor is grounded to? AaaaI dunno. I just let the CD run out and am too lazy to fish out a new one.
